Jose Basulto currently serves as Vice Chairman and Commissioner of the South Broward Hospital District. Previous commitments include service as Board Member of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami, and Pacific National Bank of Miami. He earned his MBA in Finance at Cornell University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management at Florida International University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Georgia, and a licensed General Contractor in the State of Florida.
Mr. Basulto is President of BMC, a consulting firm serving numerous municipal, state, and federal government entities, as well as private sector firms in industries such as transportation, aviation, healthcare, telecommunications, petro-chemicals, and power generation. Prior international experience includes work as Managing Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Field Engineer with M. W. Kellogg, and Project Engineer with McDevitt & Street (now Bovis Lend Lease).
